Shanghai Jiao Tong University
The Laboratory for Laser Plasmas in Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU) focuses its research on relativistic laser-plasma interactions and their applications in advanced particle accelerators, novel radiation sources, and general high energy density physics. The main expertise relevant for EuPRAXIA includes high intensity laser-plasma experiments, theory and simulation, advanced plasma diagnostics, and high power laser technology. It has recently installed three laser systems 200TW (5J/25fs/10Hz), 18mJ/40fs/1kHz, and 400J/1ns, as well as an electron gun of 2.5MeV.
